Hello wonderful people,

I have been house sitting for Pablo Soto while he and his family are in Australia. He lives just down the street from the Penland School of Crafts in NC. Pablo was the first professional glass artist I was an intern for five years ago. His glass work inspired me and I knew that having the chance to watch him work would revolutionized my technical thinking of glass. Soto Glass!

And now I am back. This time with more goals in mind. This weekend I will fire up his studio to start the production of a downloadable glassblowing technique video that will coincide with the processes explained in Life on the Rails. The atmosphere here is amazing, I can't wait to start filming. My buddy Brandon is flying in from AZ to film and the amazing SaraBeth is driving over from KY to assist.

The index for the book is in the works. It definitely takes a lot of brain power to organize but it's coming along.

I went on a little camera adventure the other day. It was so beautiful out!

I also started on more full page illustrations. The most recent one is of Pablo. The people depicted have influenced me a great deal technically, professionally, and artistically. I am working towards 15 of these scattered throughout the pages where each depicted technique is explained.
