Greetings!
More successful filming in the studio was accomplished today for the Kickstarter. The footage will also double as content for a super top secret residency application that has the potential to produce a DVD that coincides with techniques from the book. Wish us luck. More info to come... I want this book to reflect the spirit of the glass community I know best. This profession has brought me to all corners of the country. Everywhere I find the same kind and selfless individuals eager to share knowledge about everything glass. This book is a product of the wealth of knowledge offered throughout my glass education which continues to this day. The majority of information comes from my personal observation and note taking. Those few of you who I have had the pleasure to take classes with have seen my notes, even traded for them. To keep it short and sweet, I have witnessed only a small portion of the studio glass movement in America, but what I have experienced, is a personality that inspires exponential growth for the future. As promised, I will be sharing several pages of my book. Please leave comments and criticisms. Many of the pages describe very basic but important details of common glassblowing processes. Steve

Steven CiezkiI grew up in Calumet City, IL. My professional glassblowing career led me to Phoenix, AZ and the coast of Carlsbad, CA. where I was given the opportunity to teach glassblowing classes. Notes and chalk drawings of different techniques for the students resulted in my current book project. Archives
